1/3 scale foam Ferrari Formula One Car

This Ferrari was made completely from EPS foam.  The basic shape was achieved using a computer CNC hot wire machine.  Most of the rest of the detail was carved by hand.  After a little paint and decals we ended up with a fairly realistic 1/3 scale Ferrari F10 Formula One car.

Since it's made out of EPS foam it is light weight and easy to move around. Foam replicas like this one are sure to get a crowd's attention at special events or trade shows.

We have also created foam replicas of a NASCAR race car too.

Below, you can see what the raw foam looks like after it has been hand carved.  Next the foam will be sanded smooth before getting it's first coat of paint.

After a few coats of paint, we apply the vinyl stickers and what started out as a giant block of foam is transformed into a fairly realistic 1/3 scale replica of a Formula One Ferrari race car!
